Hello. I originally joined to promote a VS Code extension of mine but after reading some of the posts have been drafting my coming back to coding journey.
Hello welcome
How are you doing dude
Doing great thanks and you?
Hello
Hello everyone! My name is Viktor, and my life has been quite a journey. I’m originally from Russia but moved to South Korea at the age of 20 due to political issues. I worked there for four years as a laborer—construction, greenhouses, factories, I even dismantled mattresses. Later, I flew to Mexico, crossed the border into the U.S., and applied for asylum.
Since then, I’ve worked in wardrobe construction in New York, as a handyman in Chicago, and as a cellular tower technician. I now live in Columbus, Ohio. Six months ago, with no programming experience, I started developing my own memory system for AI, providing long-term memory for large language models. This has transformed my life, and I’m working toward fully transitioning to AI system creation. Pleased to join this community!
Incredible journey, welcome!
Hey, interesting story.
Good luck.💪
Thank you!
Hi Viktor, it's an inspiring journey. All the best with your AI work
Thank you!
What a story!
welcome
Thank you!
Your story is very inspiring @vacarchitector ...keep up with the hard work!
Thank you for the support! Absolutely!
Welcome everyone!!
Welcome welcome welcome!
Hey everyone!
I’m Sam, a UK dev currently building Inkfluence AI, a tool that turns scattered notes, docs, and ideas into fully formatted eBooks, workbooks, and lead magnets in minutes.
I’ve spent the last year rebuilding it from scratch and finally launched publicly a couple of weeks ago.
If you’ve ever tried to write a book or long-form guide and got stuck organising your ideas, you’ll probably get why I built it.
If you're curious, here it is: Inkfluence AI
Happy to connect with other builders, AI people, or anyone working on publishing/content tools.
Great idea, Well done & good luck!
Thank you Jasong!
Hello...Nice to meet u..
I saw your post and It is very interesting.
I'd like to discuss with u.
If u have free time, let me know soon.
Awesome! I'm a tech writer by trade, so I'm definitely interested in what you're building! Happy to connect!
Hi sam, great work and all the best
Hello all! 👋
Something I've learned about myself while doing interviews lately is that I'm not very articulate about what I do. Likely because I don't talk to people about it.
Now I'm not about to start chatting-up random people about software development and application architecture, but I can write about it! I think this will help me.
So I'm about to unleash a blog upon the world, and I think I've got a good angle.
hi
Hey everyone,
I am Tomas, started my dev experience in game development 10 years ago, 5 years ago I switched to web development and have been freelancing as web developer and building some of my own products.
Most recent one is Nomora, can rental management platform that is still in beta.
I am here to learn on how to make my app production ready and scalable.
Hi, I'm a cybersecurity enthusiast, and I want to connect with people who share similar interests. I was solving some TryHackMe challenges when I discovered that many people write solutions on the Medium platform, and I thought—why not do the same? It’s so exciting that I’m going to be writing all about the struggles I go through while solving challenges on TryHackMe. Let’s see if this platform brings me any benefits or not. ❤
Hey everyone! I'm Alex, and I'm building Synapse with my co-founder Xia, a social network where code has syntax highlighting and LaTeX renders beautifully, and you can mix text, images, audio, video, and files all in one post. We are almost ready to launch.
We got tired of screenshotting equations and code blocks to share on X(Twitter), so we're building something way better.
Excited to be part of this community and share our progress. Always happy to connect with other builders!
Hi, I learned python language and built my first python app. I wanted to showcase my app, get some insights or feedback from other developers which would help me improve my coding skills. I wanted to connect with other developers, learn about their projects and probably learn new things along the way.
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m Saad, a cybersecurity student who enjoys building secure-by-design tools and exploring concepts like end-to-end encryption and Moving-Target Defense.
I recently started contributing more seriously to open-source projects, and I’m here to learn from the community and connect with developers who love security and self-hosting.
If you're curious about what I'm experimenting with, my current project is here: github.com/3xpyth0n/leyzen-vault
Looking forward to meeting you all! 🙌
Hello everyone
I'm Sruthy, a Flutter developer from Kerala, India. Recently I'm exploring new AI tools that help improve developer productivity.
Two tools I found interesting are:
Wisprflow AI – for more natural device interaction
Cursor AI – helps write, edit, and debug code faster
If anyone here is into Flutter or exploring AI tools, happy to connect
Hey. I'm learning python because I like ML (classical but the hyped stuff too) and want to build production ML systems one day. (Preferably sooner than later). Here for serendipity because I don't know what I don't know.
Hi everyone, I'm a longtime developer who began his career at IBM in 1996 with RISC600 and then embarked on web and backend development for telecommunications.
I currently manage web management projects for public agencies and, for fun, I develop IoT components for localization and telemetry systems.
Hi everyone! I joined DEV.to to promote a new accessible data system that I built which is eventually going to become a programming language, and I'm really interested in seeing what the community thinks and how I can improve it. Accessibility and knowledge equity is a passion of mine, and after 17 years of struggling in the traditional career path as a multiply disabled woman in STEM, I'm trying to build something better.
Hello All,

I'm Sussan from California U.S I never thought I’d be the victim of an online scam—but it happened. I lost $3,600,000 in what seemed like a promising forex and BTC investment. When it all came crashing down, I felt foolish and betrayed. It affected every part of my life. Hopely I came across an FBI recovery asset team , RECOVERY ASSET TEAM ( RAT ) google which led me to this team and at first I didn't believe because I had many encounter not until I met with the Government law enforcer , for security reasons not to mention name here online, . Their team treated me with dignity, took my case seriously, and helped me recover the funds I thought were gone for good. I just want to say thank you. Please do contact this unit of team to help you get your lost, stolen, scammed BTC to recovery your funds back with this contact. recoveryassetteamfbi@outlook.com

Hi everyone! 👋
I'm an indie developer running a small studio called ElevenApril. My philosophy is simple: Apps Made With Care For Lives With Intention.
I believe technology should act as a companion that makes life richer, not busier. That's why I focus heavily on privacy-first design (local storage, no tracking) and beautiful, thoughtful details.
BucketPal: A companion to track your bucket list and memories.
3ThingsPal: A focus app centered on the idea that only 3 things really matter each day.
DishPal: A privacy-first recipe organizer and meal planner.
SunshinePal: Helps you track sunlight exposure for better sleep and mood.
LiveMarquee: Turns your device into a vibrant party sign.
I'm here to connect with other creators and learn how you handle the balance between adding features and keeping apps simple.
Happy to chat about iOS development, purposeful design, or just say hello!
Hello everyone. I've been interested in programming since a very long time though I just started learning it in the past 6 to 8 months. Came across this site by mistake but I've been longing to join developers communities. I hope this community can help me learn more and become better.

Hello! I’m an iOS developer and backend engineer with 5+ years of experience building mobile apps for brands such as Nike, 7‑11, and Six Flags. Previously at PayPal I designed large‑scale backend systems that handle millions of requests daily.
Hello. I’m a developer who was obsessed with AI long before ChatGPT made it trendy. Somewhere along the way that enthusiasm faded, buried under deadlines and distractions.
I’m hitting reset. I’m going back to books, papers, blogs or anything that sparks curiosity again. And this time, I’m documenting the entire journey, one post at a time.
Hi 😆
Hey everyone!
I am an embedded software engineer.
I mainly work on runtime development for Programmable Displays (HMIs) used in factories. These HMIs communicate with PLCs. As a result, I have experience working with a wide variety of PLCs, including Rockwell (Allen Bradley), Siemens, Fanuc, Schneider (Modicon), Mitsubishi, and Omron.
About a year ago, I built a system using AI-OCR for text recognition in Python, which sparked my passion for AI. Recently, I have been using AI for tasks such as image generation, software development, and writing papers.
I am naturally curious and love dabbling in various fields. I hope to write great articles that you will find helpful or inspiring.
Nice to meet you all!
“Hi, I’m Joydeep. I’m exploring the world of coding and building my skills one project at a time. I enjoy learning new technologies, experimenting with ideas, and improving a little every day. Excited to grow, share, and connect with this community.”
"Hi everyone! I'm Lara from Dresden, Germany. I work in IT Sales (MES/Production Software), but I'm here because I love the tech side of things and want to keep learning.
The comic image is AI, but the nerd vibe is real. Looking forward to reading your posts!"

Hi everyone !! I'm Daniel Afjeh. My working area is web development mostly focused on backend side with Python and Django. website development always makes me happy and also I'm happy that I joined in this amazing community !! ❤️🔥🤝
Hello everyone! I'm Bobby and I've just finished a full-stack developer bootcamp. The reason I've joined the community is to get together with people who like programming, to share ideas, passion and if enthusiasts - building projects together. Currently working full time in the construction.
Hello. I joined here basically to expand my knowledge in Software. I work in a Security team but really into proper development and infrastructure set up in AWS. There is still a lot of unknowns for me in this domain and hoping to get exposed to different things here
Sloan here. I have been writing code since before Google existed, which probably explains why I debug with the patience of a monk and the sarcasm of someone who survived dial-up internet. I grew up on Duke Nukem, Half-Life, and Counter-Strike, so troubleshooting production issues feels relaxing compared to trying to defuse a bomb with teammates who refuse to buy a mic.
These days I am a full time DevOps Web Engineer and a full time divorced dad of three incredible kids. I speak fluent, blunt honesty about WordPress (I hate em!), and I believe every tool has strengths and weaknesses worth understanding. I mentor younger developers whenever I can, and I will always encourage reading the code before trying to vibe your way through it. If you can explain your logic, fix your bug, and still enjoy the process, you are my kind of developer.
Looking forward to contributing, learning, and probably oversharing strong technical opinions with this community.
How a Simple Internal Fix Turned Into the SaaS Product I Never Planned to Build
Hello everyone,
I’m the founder of Qvista.io, and I’m glad to finally introduce myself here.
Qvista began in the most unplanned way possible. My team and I were juggling too many apps, repeating the same tasks, and wasting hours every week on work that should have been automated. Instead of searching for a tool that fit our needs, I started building a small internal solution to fix our own workflow issues. That “small fix” slowly grew into what is now a full workflow automation platform.
Why I’m Here
I joined this community because it has always felt like a genuine space for developers, makers, and builders to exchange ideas without the noise. As someone building a product aimed at simplifying work for developers and teams, I want to:
Learn from people who’ve walked a similar path
Share the real, behind-the-scenes challenges of creating a SaaS
Connect with those interested in automation and integration tools
What I’m Currently Working Through
Building Qvista has turned into an ongoing learning process. Right now, I’m focused on understanding:
How to design automation workflows that feel natural for developers
What event-driven architecture looks like at scale
How to prepare a product for launch with meaningful technical content
What real teams actually need from automation tools in day-to-day scenarios
A Bit About the Journey
What started as a simple internal tool became something much bigger once we realized how much time it saved us. That’s when I decided it was worth turning into a real product.
If you’re working on automation, building tools, experimenting with SaaS ideas, or simply enjoy discussing these things, feel free to connect. I’m looking forward to being part of this community and learning from the experiences shared here.
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m a developer with deep experience building scalable applications — including several years in the game development industry at studios like Plarium, where MMO RPGs rely heavily on robust localization. Nearly every project I've worked on, from games to enterprise software, needed solid internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) from day one.
Today, I’m using that experience to improve how modern apps handle localization. I’m building l10n.dev, an AI-powered service that automates and enhances localization pipelines. After seeing how proper i18n and l10n can accelerate global growth — or become a painful blocker — I’m passionate about making this process cleaner, faster, and more developer-friendly.
I’ve spent 15+ years working with .NET, C#, Angular, and T-SQL, focusing on clean architecture, performance, and secure, maintainable systems.
I’m planning to share my experience here and gradually migrate my posts from Medium over to dev.to.
Just published my first article — would love your feedback!
👉 i18n vs l10n: Why Developers Should Care — and How AI Can Help
Hello, trust you're doing great I'm also a developer but i levrage online and connect with people online, I would like to discuss with you or anyone here looking up to scale up sales, i have some Idea to share in that aspect.
Hi Dev.to community!
I'm an Android developer based in Italy. By day, I write code; by night, I'm a parent trying to navigate the digital world with my kids.
Recently, I decided to merge these two worlds. I wasn't happy with existing parental control apps storing my child's data on third-party servers, so I spent the last 6 months building my own solution: SafeStream Guardian.
It's a serverless, P2P monitoring app built with Kotlin and WebRTC. It was a huge challenge (especially handling NAT traversal and background services!), but I learned a ton about Android architecture and security.
I'm here to share my journey, learn from you all, and maybe vent a little about how hard AccessibilityServices are to debug. 😅
My first post: How I built a Serverless, P2P Parental Control app using WebRTC and Kotlin
Happy to be here! Let's connect! 🚀
Hi everyone! I’m a Software Engineer and Virtual Assistant Builder with a deep focus on the plumbing of modern AI—specifically API integrations and complex backend systems.
I’ve spent a lot of time engineering the architecture that allows AI models to actually do things, rather than just chat. My work revolves around bridging the gap between raw LLM intelligence and functional, real-world applications.
I’m here to share insights on:
I’m looking forward to connecting with other developers who are pushing the boundaries of what we can build with AI.
Let’s build something great. 🚀

I'm a developer from Poland building SaaS apps. Currently working on CronMonitor - a service that monitors your cron jobs and alerts you when they fail or don't run on schedule.
My stack: PHP/Symfony, Docker, MySQL, Redis, Tailwind CSS
I've been frustrated with silent cron failures in my own projects for years, so I finally built a solution.
Looking forward to connecting with other devs, sharing experiences about building SaaS, and learning from this community!
