Hello World :) May as well be the first thing I say here.
I am Subbu , No punchlines now. Just letting you know I have joined the community.
You can find me on the socials with the username "subucodes"
What brought me here ? Reddit. I was searching about how to promote my side project.
What I am learning? Specifically react and native both.
Fun fact : The profile picture you see taken 9 years back and I stopped aging since.
Welcome to DEV!
Drop the skincare routine! 😂
What do you think my first post is going to be. It's "Subbu's AI Assisted Skincare Yo" . A Sassy video for you guys 😜
😂 lmk when you upload it! Hahaha
Hi Paloma, I trust you are good? Well I just glanced through your profile and I think you are going to be of a help to me. Can you please get in touch
I am also learning react , hope we can have a discussion about our learnings and build something together 😀
Welcome to DEV everyone!
Like in helping local businesses set up email, how to build their email?
Turning coffee into code since forever.
Welcome to DEV, Arpita! I need more caffeine myself.
Like plants with their photosynthesis
👋🧔♂️ Welcome to all newcommers
go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to DEV everyone!
System.out.println("Hello, World!!);I found Dev.to while searching for foruns where I could write articles about my projects, and Dev.to
seemed to be the best option
I really enjoy programming while listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Slipknot. It helps me stay very focused.
Right now, I’m learning Spring Boot and trying to learn the Barnes–Hut algorithm to optimize my N-Body simulator.
Hey All! 👋
I’m an SDE with a love for developer tools, clean data formats, and anything that reduces complexity. Fun fact: I can’t drink coffee while coding… it always ends up spilling during debugging 😅
Excited to be part of DEV and looking forward to learning from you all!
Hi, is the toon format your own creation? Could you please tell me if LLMs understand it without a format description? Is it self-describing? It looks like something close to YAML, but more compact.
Is it possible to have a software developed to be able to scrape Facebook events, Google events, Third party calenders. A full web scraper for local events pit those events into a calender and add AI images of that event if there is none?
Hey guys! :)
Just made my registration to share my extension.
Developing since 10+ years.
Thats it.
Oh yes, and mixed my gamer and real tags~ so i dont care, now anyone will know my gamer and real tags, i don't know why it was a "secret" for years..
(just wanted to tell it, so google will connect my profiles easier together~~)
Hi all. Just sort of stumbled in and signed up. Code in Object Pascal (Borland Delphi 3) still, and hacking away as ever at my custom codebase, Gossamer, which makes building GUI apps on Windows almost bearable - I like it when things kind of work the first time round, and the way you expect them too, hence the codebase. Love it when a GUI app comes together finally works just right.
Hello! Mostly came here to get some practice writing about technical concepts and it seemed like the right place, they say teaching is the best way of learning after all! I am currently working with C++ in the embedded space so will be mostly focused on that for now.
Ein here! passing by and thought this is extremely interesting and signed up immediately :D I'm a student, still hasn't quite found the right path to take yet, I'm definitely going to lurk around and find inspirations here!
Hit me up if u want to talk about games though! I loved Sekiro and Lies of P, currently playing FFVII Rebirth :DDD
Hello everyone, I'm Jordon I work in logistics but I'm the only person in my company with a modicum of coding experience so I'm here to improve my knowledge because they want to start automating processes
👋 Hey everyone! =)
Excited to join the Dev.to community! I'm here to share what I build, learn from all of you, and contribute wherever I can.
Recently I published my NPM package candy-logger, and I’m looking forward to sharing more tools, tips, and dev experiences.
Happy to connect with fellow developers let’s build cool stuff together! 🚀
So, not sure how things work here, but a suggestion. (I am not sure if any mod is reading this or not) But everyone here says hi (like I did), but there is no (or very little interaction). I think a better way could be to make your first post/message, you need to first interact/reply to (n) (let's say 3-5) number of peoples. That would not only increase engagement but also give people a real chance of getting noticed instead of just saying "hi" and going away.
Hello world! This is my first comment on dev.to
I develop and support tools that support my professional activity and that of others, mainly in Python. One of them is Mkdocs-Macros, a plugin used in many MkDocs web documentation projects.
I'd like to know what the community desires, and what I can do to help?
Hello community. I took a long (or short, depending on who you ask) break from coding/career and now I am getting back at it, so this is my new venture to get my feet wet. Hope to learn and lots of things and share whatever I learn with everyone.
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Kurt, a Python developer focused on automation and ML systems. Over the past 6 months I turned 30+ scattered scripts into a cohesive toolkit with 6 production-ready tools and a FastAPI orchestrator. 🚀
I’m passionate about building systems that think, documenting lessons learned, and sharing the journey from “just scripts” to professional products. Recently launched my first product on Gumroad and Product Hunt, and I’m excited to connect with others here who love automation, open source, and developer tools.
Looking forward to learning from this community and contributing where I can! 🙏
Hi everyone!
I stumbled upon an article about the dead internet in here and that was it...
Currently working on QNote - a terminal based note taking software.
Hi Piotr,
Welcome! Nice project..
Well yes, the dead internet...
Hey everyone! Rasit here. I’m a web developer with about two decades of experience working mostly with Laravel, Vue, MySQL, and lately some React and TypeScript. I’ve spent most of my career building client projects, but in the past few years I’ve been shifting my focus toward creating my own products.
I have a product that I’ve been building for quite some time. It's a headless CMS called ElmapiCMS. It started as a way to avoid rebuilding the same backend features again and again, and it has slowly grown into a full headless CMS that I continue to refine, document, and expand with new ideas.
Outside of coding, I’m into sci-fi, tech, music, and anything that lets me tinker or learn something new. Looking forward to connecting with folks here and sharing the journey.
Michael Ellis, Community Manager w/ 10+ years exp.
Looking to meet other Community Managers who like to talk shop, thought leadership, industry best practices, etc.
I also share daily CM and DevRel Jokes that I write on my Linkedin Profile. Feel free to add me if you like jokes, haha (Michael Ellis + Mozilla for dicoverability) Sometimes, I do a funny image or meme too. (see below)

Q: What is the best type of talk to deliver on Thanksgiving?
A: A Tur-Keynote!!
Hi gang..
My thirst is to learn more about programming, AI, coding, LLM's and anything that can be utilized to help local businesses acclimate to AI and the tools to help them with their bottom line.

Can i have some?
Hello everyone
I’m the creator of Ascoos OS — a PHP-based Web5 Kernel — and several other projects ranging from freeware tools to open-source frameworks and commercial solutions.
Excited to join the Dev.to community, share knowledge, and connect with fellow developers!
Hello there...
I think i am a developer i just came to know when my brother was scolding me he said you call yourself a developer have you heard of dev.to I said no then i have come here writing this post. I hope dev community will be nice to me.
Hello Everyone! I've dabbled in Python and Raspberry Pi project in the past and do SQL development and reporting as a day job. Found this community as I have been experimenting with more AI development lately, specifically Claude MCP. Looking to learn more!
Hello everyone,
I’m an indie dev building SKALDA - a growing ecosystem of privacy-first, browser-only tools for creators, coders, and curious minds.
The idea is simple:
Right now I’m working on multiple focused, modular tools instead of one bloated app: unit converters, file converters, PDF tools, image tools, metadata cleaners, subtitle utilities, and more. Each ecosystem of SKALDA has a clear purpose and a clean, distraction-free UI.
I’m building this with React + TypeScript, using a mix of open-source libraries, WASM modules, and custom-built components for all processing in the browser, with support for dozens of languages, including RTL.
I’m here on dev.to to document the journey and get feedback from other developers. Architecture, performance, accessibility, DX, UX, naming, whatever you notice - I’m open to critique and suggestions.
If you’re interested in:
then SKALDA is exactly that experiment.
Very interesting, I've been working on a stand alone air gaped blockchain deployment platform. Build sign and deploy from a phone using Termux on my cellphone. All the security in your hands never having to reall connect. React python various configurations with and without UI.
👋 Hi everyone!
I’m a software engineer working with Spring Boot on the backend.
I’m currently learning Google Cloud, improving my engineering skills, and recently started getting interested in cybersecurity.
Happy to be here and excited to learn from the community!
Anyway check my blog here: programmingodyssey.hashnode.dev/pl...

it is my first blog in my career. Hope it helps someone.
Hi there,
I'm here to make myself more visible as a web dev. I love programming, but my work doesn't get recognized. Hopefully this will change at some point...
Currently I'm working on a headless CMS for Firebase. You can checkout ortwic/web-apps/tree/main/apps/fl-cms on GitHub.
Fun Fact: Dunno know... I'm interested in philosophical topics. Why are we here? To find this out, I'm also building an App which is kinda virtual guide to answer this questions but from a nihilistic/existentialistic point of view.
cya!
PS: while(!succeed==try());
Hi, I am Christopher and everyone calls me Chris. I am your new member, a complete beginner trying to learn Javascript.
I want to give a shout out to Leng who introduced me to The Odin Project.
Please every one in the house I am your newest bro so treat me as your junior and lead me along the line of programming.
Thanks
Hello all,
Sam here, a blind developer sorry for any typos. Between auto correct and this phone its a wonfmder how i get anything done. Im about to create a new AI economic paradigm, a first of it's kind ahead of the VC backed teams, Who wants to get on the bus and ride this one into 2035 and beyond? Seats available for a limited time only.
Hey everyone! 👋
Vladimir, 40, developer exploring AI-first workflows.
AI compressed my "idea to prototype" from months to weeks. Now obsessed with:
My colleagues think I'm too experimental with AI. You folks here probably get it. 😄
Currently exploring: Can we orchestrate terminal agents the same way we orchestrate microservices? What's the "spec" that makes agent collaboration predictable?
Let's talk AI development!
✨Howdy✨
What brought me here was my research through trial and error in finding a blogging platform to publish and share my projects that I will be working on soon. I’m in the planning out phase that consists of mostly research and brainstorming ideas for what kinds of IT/Cybersecurity projects I’d like to dive into.
Fun fact about me is I have been in the Bermuda Triangle on a research ship in my earlier college years. ✨
What I’m currently learning is Linux and studying for my Security+ certification. 📚
Hi everyone! I heard about the community through Claude.ai and other AIs when researching about how to become a better practitioner. They, in addition to some other mattes, advised me I could talk about some subjects by writing articles in dev communities, so that contributing to other devs like they have being doing for me over the years.
I´m Brazilian, 45 yo, and here I intend to both learn futter outstanding things certainly found here, and might talk about any subject I acquired hands-on experience over 26 years as a dev. Currently, I have C# as the most explored subject, and this is likely where I might expend most of my effort to provide you some valuable contribution. Any post I release here will be also have a place in my LinkedIn profile, I just started my journey around it and do not have any post yet!
I hope I have fun during the process! Huggs for all (Brazilians usually are fine about hugging each other)!
Hey DEV 👋
I’m Usmon, a native Android and Kotlin Multiplatform developer from Uzbekistan, currently working as a junior Android dev and spending way too much free time building side projects and open source tools. I enjoy taking ideas from “this would be cool” to “you can install it today”, especially with Jetpack Compose and KMP.
Over the last year I’ve:
Shipped a commercial fundraising app to Google Play using Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, Firebase, PayPal, and RevenueCat.
Built several KMP/Compose Multiplatform apps (notes, QR tools, painting games) to learn shared code, architecture, and real-world deployments.
Most recently, launched “Github Store” – a cross‑platform “Play Store for GitHub releases” that lets you discover and install GitHub apps in one click.
Outside of code, I used to be deep into anime (probably 1,100+ hours watched over the few years), which definitely shaped how much I care about polish, pacing, and small details in UX. These days most of that energy goes into experimenting with KMP architectures, testing, and release tooling.
👋 Hey everyone! I'm Rennan
I'm a DevSecOps Senior and SRE, currently diving even deeper into cybersecurity.
I joined this community to learn from you all, share what I can, and connect with people who genuinely love tech.
Fun fact: I have a Bull Terrier named Ozzy, who is absolutely convinced he owns the place. 🐶😂
I come from a big family with six siblings, and only one of them doesn’t work with tech. So tech naturally became our family language.
And honestly, I still feel like a kid every time I learn something new. The difference is that now the playground is way cooler for me. 😄
I’ve been working in this field for about eight years, and the more I learn, the more excited I get about what’s coming next. These days, I’m focused on AIOps, automation, security, resilience, and building systems that think before they break.
I also started @devopssemfirula, a space where I talk about tech in a simple, fun, no-BS way, trying to break old myths people still carry into the AI era and keep the collaborative culture alive.
More recently, I founded @aiops.community, a brand-new space for anyone riding this wave of innovation. We focus on collaboration, security by design, engineering, DevOps, and AIOps.
I’m still organizing the materials, but the manifesto and the website (aiops.community) go live this week.
If anyone wants to join or help shape it, you’re more than welcome. ❤️
Super happy to be here and excited to learn from all of you.
Let’s grow together! 🚀

Hello Everybody ! New over here and exploring more, I am Riya , a web developer, and I want to network more with Tech fanatic people, this is what brought me here. As of now, I am deep into the AI world and learning more on it! Glad to join this community.
Hello everyone! My name is Viktor, and my life has been quite a journey. I’m originally from Russia but moved to South Korea at the age of 20 due to political issues. I worked there for four years as a laborer—construction, greenhouses, factories, I even dismantled mattresses. Later, I flew to Mexico, crossed the border into the U.S., and applied for asylum.
Since then, I’ve worked in wardrobe construction in New York, as a handyman in Chicago, and as a cellular tower technician. I now live in Columbus, Ohio. Six months ago, with no programming experience, I started developing my own memory system for AI, providing long-term memory for large language models. This has transformed my life, and I’m working toward fully transitioning to AI system creation. Pleased to join this community!
