I’ve noticed something interesting while building small browser-based tools.
Some tools I use once and forget.
Some I instantly bookmark for future use.
I’m curious what creates that difference for you.
Is it:
– speed?
– clean UI?
– no signup?
– trust signals?
– something else?
What makes you think, “I’ll definitely come back to this tool”?

Exactly, speed and clarity are everything! Another thing that makes me bookmark a tool instantly is when it “just works” without me thinking about how it works. If I don’t have to read instructions or fiddle with settings to get value, it sticks in my brain. Bonus points if it’s something I can check on repeatedly, like a live dashboard or a small productivity helper..
For me, it’s when a tool is fast, simple, and solves one clear problem without friction.
If I can open it, finish my task in under a minute, and nothing feels confusing or forced — I bookmark it.
Things that usually make me return:
Basically: open → do → close → remember.
If a tool respects my time, I’ll definitely come back 👍
